Solution Design and Development: Develop comprehensive, innovative, and effective cyber security solutions to address customer requirements. Design secure systems, architectures, and frameworks that meet industry standards and best practices.
Develop security-specific enterprise reference artifacts (e.g., playbook, patterns, blueprints, roadmaps, etc.). Provide technical engineering expertise to support architectural designs for new software solutions and threat identification to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of technical experts, including security engineers and architects, and guide them through solution development and deployment. Provide technical mentorship, inspire creativity, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of cyber security solutions, ensuring projects are completed within budget, scope, and timeline. Effectively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest cyber security technologies, trends, and industry practices. Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise to guide the team in adopting cutting-edge solutions and methodologies.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align cyber security solutions with business strategies. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architectural diagrams, and implementation guidelines. Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements
Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, and a minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security domain. Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex cyber security projects is essential.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in designing and implementing secure systems and architectures. Proficiency in network security, application security, cloud security, identity and access management, encryption techniques, and security frameworks.
Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Ability to provide technical guidance, resolve conflicts, and drive the team towards successful project delivery.
Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex cyber security challenges. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations (such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) is a plus.
